
ELIZABETH MURDOCH is a freelance illustrator specializing in scientific illustrations and graphics. Elizabeth's illustration and design experience includes a wide range of projects from complex scientific illustrations and graphics to promotional materials and company logos. She has created medical illustrations for prominent research hospitals such as Steadman Hawkins Sports Medicine Foundation and St. Joseph's Health Centre. She has several years of experience in marine education and has developed educational materials for the scientific community, including a dissection manual for the National Marine Fisheries Service and children's lessons for the New England Aquarium. Elizabeth has produced scientific posters, trade show booths and brochures as well as created designs for marketing material and apparel. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Scientific Illustration and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Michigan. She has a graduate certificate in Science Illustration from the Science Communication program at the University of California Santa Cruz. Elizabeth has also studied painting and photography at the Art Institute of Florence at Lorenzo de'Medici University, Florence, Italy.
